Facilitation

Groups and organisations sometimes find themselves in situations where they are struggling to move forward, or are having issues between individuals which are causing barriers to the success of the group. An independent facilitator is a positive way to address this.Facilitation.

The facilitator works with the group using a range of tools to guide them forward in a positive manner.  A facilitator is particularly effective when you have a diverse range of people that need to reach a consensus or require contribution from all members of a group.

Lisa has over 10 years experience in facilitation. She has successfully worked with a variety of businesses, training groups and organisations.  Areas she has facilitated include:

  • Organisational growth and development
  • Strategic Planning for small businesses and organisations
  • Business meetings
  • Staff and structural change in business
  • Problem solving
  • Training workshops

"A facilitator is someone who can allow the work to be done by the group for the group. The focus should not be on the facilitator. A really good facilitator sets the scene and steps back, only stepping forward and guiding when the group gets stuck. They ensure the group stays on track with the purpose for which they have been formed and then capture information as it evolves."  -- Lisa Metcalfe
